Sure Secure Solutions announced today that Narjis Ali, President, has been named as a finalist in the eleventh annual Heroines in Technology® Awards. The Heroines in Technology® Awards, presented by The Northern Virginia Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA NOVA) and the March of Dimes, recognizes women in the Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia technology industries who demonstrate community leadership.

Narjis Ali is known not only for her professional talent but also for her indefatigable efforts to share with others her time, compassion, and caring. Ms. Ali is consistently a source of inspiration for those around her and she manages to find the time to give to others in all areas of her many talents which include dedication to charitable work, music, the arts, and technology. It is because of this consistent excellence in so many areas that Ms. Ali has been honored as a finalist in this year’s Heroines in Technology Awards.

Heroines in Technology award winners will be announced at a black-tie gala on October 21, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Reston in Reston, Va., where there will be dinner, music and auctions. Proceeds from the event will support local March of Dimes programs of research, community services, education and advocacy to reduce the occurrence of birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
